Developed as a pair of executive dwellings this new dual occupancy created two elegant homes on a site which provides separate road access at front and rear, allowing the dwellings to have individual addresses and character. An existing Frangipani tree and sandstone walls were inspirational in the design, creating curved stone entry stairs and an established garden feel by reusing these beautiful features of the previous life of the property. Transforming a single dwelling into a pair of dwellings creates greater housing choice and density in a location where the demographic is changing allowing elderly long term residents to remain in the location while downsizing from large family homes.
